It's almost that time of year again for the Vic 4WD Show at Wandin. I went last year and it was great, so much better than the National show IMO.
Who's going? What are you planning to buy?

I will be buying an Ironman recovery kit and an Engel. Hopefully they still so the gold 40L job. Retail on these is $300 and $1600, realistically what should I expect to pay at show prices?

The Gold 40L Anniversary Fridge/Freezer is on sale at BCF from tomorrow for $1349 and that includes the transit bag.

At the national show i was quoted $550 for the ironman large recovery kit and survival kit, i might head down and see if they can better or honor the quote. Maybe if we got 2 they could do better?? What do you think??

Winnie wait till the show you may end up getting a cover and fridge slide as well, believe me they don't want to take them back, I go just to say hello to ppl I know.

What is the survival kit? Large recovery kit is $300 retail. Last show my mate got it for $150 but he spent about $2k with them

I just went in and earbashed some old bloke think he was high up from their head office he signed the quote n all, this is the kit mate pic is easier lol24529

2 Mins from home ill be there! Hoping to pick up a UHF and antenna. Dunno how cheap they will be though, might be worth just buying online?

I'll be looking at fridges. It'd be nice to see the 'Bushman's' down there but i doubt i will.
Otherwise i'll be looking a the standard waeco/engel/ARB and if the price is right i'll bite the bullet.

Should be a good day. i was disappointed by the last melbourne 4wd show but the wallet still seems to get a hole burnt though it.
