I've just been given a Diesel SWB '86 MQ patrol in major need of some tlc
I was wondering if someone could give me a rough estimate on the time it takes and effort involved in doing a front right w/bearing on an MQ '86 patrol??

If you know what you're doing replacing a wheel bearing takes about an hour. It's not a difficult job but can get very messy.

In nth east sub's of melb... Got replacment parts.... thanks for your input i've worked on all types of stuff in the past (trucks, cars, forklifts, machinary etc) but ive never really done any mechanical work on 4X4's before. but i just pulled 'er apart and suprise suprise it was reasonably easy the only drama i had was the 50 somthing mm socket but worked that out and it lives to fight another day thanks heaps.... i guess it just a matter of being confident enough Thanks again guy's keep up the good work....
