I got sick of not having enough storage room in my patrol so i built this

Been wanting to do this for quite a while myself.

Mate, I have been wanting and planning this for ages. I have even drawn up a 3D digital model of the whole thing using SketchUp 7. If only I could find the time to get the job done! Here is a jpg. image of the model.

Nice one mate, hadn't thought of that! Lol Will have to do that. I was planning on fitting a light in it anyway so that will give me a location to mount it. I'm also going to wire up a lighter plug in the dish section to power stuff like laptop, charge phone and batteries, etc. Should make life much easier and the cabin cleaner!

Been gunna start mine, but can't work out how to get the front panel off, does it just pull off or is there something holding it on?? yeah, I know, dumb arze eh?

You need to take the main glovebox out & then reach up with a short phillips head screwdriver to remove 8 screws. 4 at the top of the panel & 4 at the bottom, then saw out the backing & start building.
