The Bridgestone AT's look fairly good and not bad on price. My brother has a set of these on his Navara and he is happy with them so far. Warranty was good too i seem to recall him mentioning.
I have the Cooper AT3's. Not what you would call a budget tyre though at $385 a corner.

Go with maxxis, mickey thompson or bf goodrich mate. I run BFG KM2's on my GU and they have 40,000km and would be lucky to be half worn they did cost a bit but. Maxxis bighorns generally get a pretty good rap as a good all round budget tyre. And there a few people on here who are running the Mickey T ATZ 4 rib with good results and are very happy with them.

I just fitted a set of hancook ate and the bloke that fitted them showed me a set that he had just taken off a car with he said 140k's on them, if I can get that I will be very happy.

BFG all terrains I have done 80,000 on mine and they ate barely over half way and that's mainly road and sand driving

yeh me too, the maxxis mudzilla just didnt cut it, about 6k's pretty crap as they have worn unevenly and scolloped, a few guys say this is normal for them so stay away.

Apparently with some tyres nowadays you have to rotate them every 10000 km to get the projected wear out of them. I am going off what the tyre bloke told me when we got new tyres on the handbrakes bus. I am not sure if this is for front drive only or for all cars now

yes i rotate every 5000 so should be all good, i could not beleive it when he showed me the tyres and it wasnt a sales pitch as i had bought them prior to him showing me the tyres at 145 k's and they still had tread on them, i am hoping anything over 100k's. i guess time will tell.

I mark mine {white texta} as I run 2 sets of tyres, but rotate every time they are refitted, my Cooper ATRs have worn ok
I'll end up getting 90k out of them, just the muddies are woefull

yeh thats what i found muddies 6000k's and they are almost shot, hopefully enough for next winter but we will see.

I was impressed with Kumho KL78s which we had on our GQ - $215 each to buy and the last lot lasted us 100 000kms

I've fitted Mickey T's MTZ 285/70/17 for $400 each fitted and balanced. Nice and quiet on the black top and awesome off road, sand is no trouble at all.
