just checking the 15" arent too tight, the front is only just scraping through. who else runs 15" on a gq with 2" suss lift?

tap some 33x12.5s on it.

Diesel-Mate
15th December 2012, 09:13 PM
Yeah I do and will soon have some 33s to fill the gaps

Rustyboner81
15th December 2012, 09:28 PM

GQ came standard from the factory with 15 inch rims you will have no trouble fitting them. Only the offset might be an issue depending in the rims.

15th December 2012, 09:33 PM
Looks like you will need to fit flexi flares straight away at the same time as your going from cheese cutters and no flares.

Clunk
15th December 2012, 09:53 PM
Yeah I also run 33x12.5x15s with a 2in lift......... had to take the front mud flaps and brackets off as they scrubbed on full lock.

Clunk

Clunk
16th December 2012, 12:28 AM
Well not strictly legal no. I've got some conveyor belt rubber from doggy a while ago, just need to find a way to fit it

Rustyboner81

Being Sunday morning, you might not get a quick response, so I suggest you use NP search to find Bunnings, Flares, ect.

It's not the prettiest but it does the job...... AB has a diy thread on it.

Did your flexi flats come with some wire to put through the little hole to keep the outside edge rigid?

Deflate the spare tyre to 8 or 10psi and you will be able to bolt it up to the door without trouble. You carry a compressor anyway so it is no big deal ;)
