G'day all.

I am looking to get a dual jerry can holder SORT OF like the picture shown to attach to the GQ rear wheel holder (wheel has been moved to roof rack).

Since the companies charge upwards of $200, with additional modifications needed, I was wondering if ANYONE out there knows someone or can do the job themselves?

Not a fussy customer, just need the job done. Perth area would be preferred, but wouldn't shy away from getting it shipped.

Hope someone can help, as I've tried all other venues!

Cheers =)

To those with similar questions of decent blokes/fabricators out there: MK4x4 (Facebook Page) is ran by a guy named Matt who does his own rear bars, sliders etc. Great guy, very helpful, is knocking one up for me.

Attaches to stock bar, and pin locks it in place while travelling. Fixed position to existing wheel carrier. $300 inc. postage

Just made similar for a freind over here, but freight would be a killer.
good luck with your search.

Bumped, thats going to be heaps of weight hanging from the door, hinges will crack under weight of the wheel over time.
that one above is only a half jerry can holder, Its being fitted to a Land Rover Defender

Looks like it would do the job, but yes I'm wondering about the weight it would put on...

Hey Ryan, if you haven't got one organised yet, have a word with XLR8, he hasa vendors thread on here with his contact details..........

If youve moved the spare wheel up to the roof, the I would have thought the barn door would cope with a 20ltr can

Don't stroke it, TAP it!!!!.....

I could make one from cardboard but it wouldn't last long :)
