hold down the CTRL key and press the - ( minus key ) a few times until it comes good or you can play around with your computers screen resolution size until its ok.

Cheers

Tried what the master said and it worked in reverse for me, coz didnt have the prob' to start with.
All it seems to be is the text has been over zoomed in, try just zooming out by your tool bar, or maybe try reset zoom (in view, then zoom, you will see reset)

Hi Cuppa. I run it on iPad and chrome. To resize it down just swipe your fingers on the diagonal. If your iPad is in landscape (you use it sideways) try using it in portrait (home key at the bottom). The forum code isn't built to dynamically scale hence the res issues.

Nothing wrong with Apple. :) I work in the Industry and the issue is simply vBulletin (this forum) is not designed to detect and play nicely with tablets. I use an iPad (I'm using one now - that sounds like a VB ad!) and works fine for me.

Until a couple of years ago I was so anti-Apple it wasn't funny. I could have been the Microsoft advocate of the year. But once you've had b... a Mac you never look back! :p

Hi Jas,
Not sure what you mean by the diagonal swipe - doesn't seem to do anything. However resizing via a pinch gesture using the iPad3 (with iOS 6.0.1) in portrait mode makes no difference to the jumbled title. I think it's an compatibility issue with the iPad/Safari. No probs on the laptop (MacBook Pro with Osx 10.8.2)

Have also noticed another ipad/browser issue since (I think) we had the Xmas lights. Every time I scroll the page now the page refreshes which does get a bit irritating after a while. Doesn't happen on any other sites & doesn't happen on my laptop. Both laptop & ipad are running Safari as the browser. As I type this I am on the iPad using Tapatalk with no issue.

Hi Cuppa - sorry - I was referring to resizing via pinching (some people don't get it when you say that). I notice there is overlap of menu buttons, etc on my iPad, however unfortunately because the site is fairly static it is setup for a certain resolution which doesn't work so well on tablets. Have you tried Chrome or Diigio for a better user experience? Safari is good - but I prefer the other browsers? I am not sure if there is a refresh set on the christmas bulb widget but could well be. I don't get a refresh issue on Chrome.

I might take a look at the code and have a chat with AB to see if the forum can't be made to play a little better with smaller devices.

Now that youtube have removed there long link option from there website

1) how do I embed a youtube video into a post on this forum
2) how do I add youtube video 2 the media section located here: http://www.nissanpatrol.com.au/forums/media.php?

Cheers

Don't know any more Pete, think its lack of beer.

I couldn't get the vids to go into the media section and I assumed it was because some sites needed the youtube long link of a video not the short version, since youtube have removed this option I would like 2 know if anyone has got it to work.

I just assumed it wouldn't work in post as the short link never use 2, but that doesn't seem to be the case any more
