hi guys

after reading through a few threads decided to give the maf sensor a clean.
went and bought the sensor cleaner and a t20 torx bit and went to open it up however the bit doesn't fit?

I'm not very good with what different bits are called but can someone please tell me what i need to use to take these out to open the sensor? Its like a T20 fitting but has a small piece of metal protruding from the centre of the bolt?

hope this makes sense...

thanks
Mark

just went to bunnings and they have a full range of them in a couple of different brands.
bought the t20 size in the security style and fits perfect.
will open it up and finish the job once i get home tonight.

thanks for all your help guys.

Good to hear, keep that tool in your centre console , along with maf spray

don't forget, the sensor is very delicate so don't touch it with your fingers just hold the plastic part of it as they are easily broken!

not a good idear to keep the spray in the patrol as it will get too hot in there on a hot day (expoding bomb)
i wouldnt keep my threedogs in there LOL
