What tyre size to choose?

Ok I know this topic has been raised millions of time but I can never get a clear answer (one I can visualise) for what I need.

I would like to know whether to go 33s or 35s, more for appearance sake to fill the guards. I'm not a flexer so take that into mind. Iv got a 3.5" lift, running no flares or mudflaps and have 31" tyres atm.

Are you running 33/12.5r15s? And with what lift?

Mine are 33x10.5x15 on a 3" lift

They look so much larger than 33s, I was thinking because I have 6"s from my current 31" tyre to the rear 1/4 pannel and that 35" tyres will take up 2"s from my original clearance, I would still have 4"s to play with. Wouldn't that be enough?

Being that you have no flares or mud flaps I would be going with something like winnie has mentioned. They will fill the gap nicely, look good and are legal. You are already illegal by running no mud flaps so the last thing you want to happen is to be pulled up for running 35's and having them stick out the guards by 2 inches.

Yeah I might have go with some 33s because as you say I'm fairly illegal atm with a lot of things. When I get some 33s I will get some rubber flares so I atleast won't get fined for that and maybe put the rear mudflaps back on.
