I've searched around and I'm trying to find a suitable camping spot either North or South. Can anyone recommend any decent places?

Thanks in advance.

When you say North or South mate, do you mean north or south of Perth, or north or south throughout the whole state (bloody big state!! lol)??

The WA lads should be able to sort this one ...

theres good camping in dwelingup in the state forrest along the river. go down nanga road off pinjarra williams rd

there's really rough it no dunny camping or theres more civilised camping with toilet / ablution blocks.

it would pay to try get hold of the shire of dwellingup if you plan on going down there, caz there is a map of the area and of the 4x4 heritage trail as well.

these are pics of dwellingup, roughing it no dunny style

Remember, fire restrictions apply throughout the whole of WA, this time of year.

I live east of Greenmount Hill, in case you're interested. It's very brown out this way at the moment.

Lots of harvesters still going around and around or up and down. lol

I'm leading a trip with the Western Patrol Club the last week in August out here to see all the wildflowers and a couple of rock formations. We'll be allowed to light camp fires then!

If you're interested, here's a few websites to check out.

If you Google..... Shire of Westonia, and the Shire of Mt Marshall, there's a couple of good spots with free camping.

Take care out there.
