Went upto craigs hut during the week. perfect weather. empty car park at craigs. only saw about 7 others up there for the day. did i mention the weather was perfect.

Did you come up the back way via Bindaree and Monument track.
What are your thoughts of new hut???

yeh came in via the circuit road then up monument. was a bit of fun going up there. the miss, who was on her first trip 4WDing, had to walk up a bit cause she was pooing her pants a bit haha. then went out via king baisin. first time i have been there 3dogs and it definitely wont be my last.

Thinking of grabbing a whole heap of members just after or around Aust day. Base camp at Sheepyard flats go to hut and return via hwy

Basically as soon as weather starts cooling down and fire danger well over . should be easy enough to do. check 16 mile ,jeep track. pineapple very knarly if wet definitely 2 x diff lock job. Forgotton name of river but only 12 inches deep and great for photos, driving flat stick up the centre. Easy drive just a bit rocky at momument near the summit

Like I said base camp at Sheepyard Flats, take off after brekky be home in time to cook tea. Awesome trip especially the back way.easy drive until Monument, just a bit rocky

Lets make it happen... were talking with some other members about another trip.

I have never been up to the hut so I would love it.

Oh and beautiful picks mate... I am jealous !!!!

Put me in for that TD. I'm busting to take my two girls up there.

Like I said base camp at Sheepyard Flats, take off after brekky be home in time to cook tea. Awesome trip especially the back way.easy drive until Monument, just a bit rocky

On the way home you could even leave sheepyards and head toward Tobacco flat, go up the big hill to the slate mine, enjoy the views and go back down towards the Howqua river and come out that way and back into Mansfield.
