Is it compulsory in other states than WA to have an immobilsor fitted. The are dangerous & have caused me big problems in the past when my battery died while I was a long way out fishing. I couldnt oll start as the immobilsor needed power had ral dramas.

Not compulsory in QLD. If you're fitting it yourself you could always put in a hidden bypass switch.

Not compulsory in S.A either.
Got some strange laws in W.A, just read a post about Boat, car, gear etc getting confiscated by fisheries in W.A for doing bad things with fishys.
