View Full Version : How does one save a pdf file on an Iphone 4S

Hi guys n girls,

Could anyone tell me how to save a pdf file that has been downloaded on an Iphone 4S or any Iphone.

I don't have an I phone so not much help to the person that needs 2 know.

Try emailing to yourself and save that way ??

I use the 'readdledocs' app mate - saved and stores most file types. In an email that the PDF is received in, tap and hold the PDF file attachment icon and select open/save with readdledocs ...

Is that what you're after??

Yea emailing your still data transferring from 'hotmail' to the screen each time.

I just googled it (shoulda just done that..) and it seems there are a couple of options for storing pdf's on the device and viewing them..
iDisk, Datacase, Documents to go. I'll try them out and let you know..

I'm looking at saving the gq manual to my iPhone..

Found an app called Phone Drive.
Seem to do everything but .zip files..
Will keep you updated

It has a zip functions listed on there website, so must be able to do .zip files

Yea sorry toddie, shoulda just googled the dam thing from the start hay. Cheers though, the info is now out there for others who are technologically challenged.. Lol

Well down load is easy enough..
Select the down load button, enter the URL into the browser, and then either open it or download..
Sweet..

They must have not updated the app add for the .zip.. Even better

Get an android phone. Found it solved all the problems I was having. Mostly the apple sticker at fault. Lol
