New Diesel Pathfinder

i went to the Motor show last month to check out the new Nissan Patrol diesel auto but no luck-it is not expected to be released until 2012. They did however have the new Pathfinder on show and claim that it is now rated to tow 3500kg. Has anyone got any opinions on this?

If it's as ugly (IMHO) as the new patrol, then they had to come up with something to sell it ... as they say, 'opinions are like .... (you know the rest) ...'
