Voted. Not that I'll do any sand driving myself. It destroyed my beloved Husky trail bike, stuffed if I'm gonna put my Patrol through the same...Great shot none the less...

Awesome Guys,
A big thanks to everyone

I shouldn't really mention it, but Scotty once had to pull my Patrol of a dune I was crested on :( He's got a Tojo FJ Cruiser !

Done. Great shot amongst quite a few others.

I could take shots like that, if it wasn't for my total lack of skill and ability :)

good looking rig mate

It's not mine, belongs to a guy I know (Jjamel). I've driven it though, it rocks on sand - so much torque. It's got a Manual Transmission and it just rocks, goes almost everywhere, but is vulnerable to cresting when the lack of articulation can be a problem.
Honestly I don't know which I prefer.
The Y62 goes everywhere and can climb dunes that my 4.8 fails on - there's always another way to the top though :)
The Y61 is a much stronger car and (I think) has better feel. I think it needs more skill to drive well in sand and is a better judge of driver ability - ultimately the Y61 is more rewarding.

I try to remind myself of this when I'm still at the bottom of the dune and he's at the top. :(
