GU Recall Y61 Wheel Nuts for Alloy Wheels

Just received a letter from Nissan with a recall Y61 Wheel Nuts (Alloy Wheels) to be replaced!
Anyone else received this letter or know about this recall ?

We just got one of these letters for Marks car at work... must of cost them a fortune to do that mailout... apparently it was because people were having wheels fall off due to not doing the wheel nuts up correctly...

Just spoke to my Nissan dealership it seems to be all GU Patrols. Mine's an 09 model. They said that if the wheels have been removed for any reason they have to come off, put back on and retensioned.

I got my recall notice today. The recall is to "retension" the wheel nuts and fit 12 "nut indicators" that you have to moniter to see if the nuts come loose. The recall is in response to "a few isolated reports of alloy wheels coming loose"

Yep, received the same letter two days ago from Macarthur Nissan Sydney. Ill get a service while I'm there.
