anyone using hurricane exhaust system id be willing to give the local a go if someone can tell me they are good thanks .kev

Hi Kev, not sure about patrols but I have a hurricane system on my T series Tickford and it is the best system proven on the dyno for these cars so I would say yes go for it.

Yo , 07' check online for the power output charts, you could then compare not only different companies, but different size exhaust as well.
wouldn't take results as gospel but would be close, then check their price. Beaudesert use an alluminised steel pipe, You may want to take stuff like that into account as well.

Hi Kevin, Go to liverpool exhaust. They are the manufacturers of hurricane. I have there 3" s/s sysytem on my trol. $1500 fitted. All mandrel bent turbo back

Liverpool exhaust also do a 4 inch system. What are the upsides/downsides of going up an inch?

It will sound terrible and mounting becomes a little tight. Well and truly overkill for a CRD 3.0. I dont reckon a 3" sounds any good on them but just me. Even people pulling 200+hp out of TD42's are only using a 3"

i dont think 4" would work there has to be some back pressure i think you would need 700hp plus for that im going to put 2.75 on mine i believe thats enough

Might put that on a 7.3 F250, What someone does a 4" for a 3ltr, well doggy gmf
