Hey guys. Though I'd show you what the West has to offer.

This is the Stirling Ranges. About 40k's, and visible from my front lawn!

Yeah, I'm happy that both spotties work now.

There's so much definition and articulation in those Ranges.
They change all the time with the different light and cloud shows.

Nice pics there Rossco. Back in '98 I nearly busted a pooper valve climbing the highest peak in WA (down between Albany and Esperence somewhere). Is that the area you were in?

Nah. I'm about 130km north of Albany. Google Stirling Ranges WA for a more accurate description.

I wanted to get some really good shots but it was really overcast that day. Oh well, means I'll have to do it all again. lol

WHere are the Stirling Ranges.

They are in Western Australia, about 130km north of Albany (on the south coast of WA) in the Shire of Gnowangerup.

Thanks for enquiring. It's easy to google it. The only 3 camping spots in the area are Moyinup Springs (toilets and gas bbq provided), Mt Trio camping and caravan park and Stirling Range Retreat.
Plenty of walk trails around the area and costs $11 per vehicle.

Let me know if I can be of any more help.

Take care out there.

Ross
