Being new to the 4WD scene and somewhat ignorant, I am just wondering if people can recommend the 4WD & Adventure show in Sydney next month based on their previous experiences. I am trying to gauge whether it’s worth an interstate trip for looksee. Thanks in advance for any feedback

Not really mate, those things are all about sales, if your looking at buying a heap of stuff then maybe, but if your going there to gain some knowledge then no not worth an interstate trip.

If your new to the seen mate best thing to do is join a 4x4 club in your area.

Cheers

X 2 on the join a Club, has to be a few down Gippy way, best thing you can do.
As for shows usually nothing new, some bargains to be found, great if you're after
big ticket items. IMO

we sometime go for the gadgets, like NissanGQ has said they are full of salesharks trying to pilfer your money.
Good for researching and comparing items such as winches, fridges, suspension. You have all the major players under one roof (so to speak) and can quite easily do the comparison thing.

if you do go to a local show do your research as alot of items arent at a sale price anyway or if they are can be found cheeper on say ebay
