MK Rear Window Gas Struts

Hi
Would anyone know where I could find some replacement Rear Window Gas Struts for my Short Wheel base 85 MK Patrol?? Thankyou

I have been looking for these for a while. the Nissan dealer here can't get them, and aftermarket is ok, I contacted a aftermarket strut manufacturere they say they don't make them anymore, there is a 3rd party replacement listed in the book at Supercheap Auto though they can't get it either.

Mate you can get away with one good strut.
Yrs ago mine failed as they do.
Had a good one that was sitting around doing nothing in my shed draw.
It was to long, so I cut it shorter and welded the original nissan fitting back onto it.
Problem solved.
It was more than strong enough by it's self, so I simply had to hold the side it was on, to close the glass door.
