well started thursday night by pulling the bonnet off windscreen out radiator and air-con condenser out. nice early night. friday after work down to hall 4x4 to get a break booster and master, from there straight out to yarra glen start on pulling dash out, pulling trims off. removing wiring from front of car. unbolted drive shafts and exhaust from engine n gearbox, fed the wiring loom back into the engine bay for the simple reason of the amount of wires on the engine was way to confusing so all wiring ontop of motor in a nice birds nest haha. unbolt engine mounts cut front rad support to make the motor removal easy from the old 1. out comes the motor at 1.35 am wow whatta night. big clean up the home time.
saturday arrive weather looking amazing for the best of our knowledge lucky we have a monsterous shed. now the motor was out time for the diesel lines to go in as the new shell was petrol gas and they had cut the lines. so after 5 hours we finally got the lines over the rear spring tower shit of a job trust me. remove the gear box from the engine. lift engine in mush easier than expected honestly went in like you wouldn't believe. engine in time for gearbox. wheel gearbox round and under truck.what a job. took a bit but got her in and bolted.. time for exhaust and drive shaft. and feeding the wiring loom through that wiring loom o how fun u r. 2.00am comes knock off time..
then brings us sunday. road to truck flooded the cops wanted us to go round through yarraglen n take the by-pass when the truck was just at the end of the water so we risked it n through we went bit of fun actually. cops didnt mind think they foun it amusing lol. bolt fuel pump on radiator and air-con condenser in. dash in all wired n sexy. time for the moment of truth. how good r we.. well in goes the key. turn once, turn twice here we go......... third times n she running what a relief we actually did something right..start pulling door off seats out. doors on new 1 n then home time. what a relief hopefully today is the last day.. have a good 1
