Attention All Crow Eater South Aussies another 4wd park thats close to home

Fella at work went up here last weekend said was a good day out $20 per vehicle incl if ya camp out overnight.

Heres the only info i have on it from him so far its just out back of Callington so nice n close.


The blokes name is Jason and his mobile number is on the gate for when you get there. Just call and let him know you are at the gate and he comes down to the gate and you sign the wavier and pay the $20 and your in!
Directions as below:
Jakem Farm is located at St. Ives which is 45 minutes from Adelaide. Directions:
Take the Callington exit turning right toward theCallington township. Turn left into Callington and you will cross a single lane bridge. This will take you to a stop sign. Turn right toward the Callington Pub. You will pass the Pub, the Primary School ane the Oval. Take the first left onto Back Callington Road. If you cross a railroad crossing, you've gone too far. Stay on Back Callingtion Road. You will cross one railroad crossing. Turn left onto the next road which is Eclair Mine Road. Follow this to the end. You will be heading toward the Freeway. The road winds under the Freeway until it ends at Jakem Farms gate. You will see our sign. If you use a GPS, turn it off. It will miss-lead you.

From what I've been told its mild to difficult. My work mate got a GU bogged and took hours to retrieve! Has good hill climbs and creek crossings though no doubt the bremmer (I assume) would be dry during summer

Well I was there for my cert to show i can handle a 4wd heh, and my heh just had highway tyres. But my suspension is a bit slack at present so some bumps hit underneath, no damage just bumps.

Actually a nice place but too far for me to get to on a regular basis. 800 k's round trip for a day fun :eek:
