G'day,

In some, but not all threads/posts/? it is clear from the text that I should be able to see a link to a video file, or Youtube or something along those lines.

However no such is visible. One instance is the How to Underbody Wash a Patrol, and there are others.

What do I need to do differently?

Sometimes there either moved or removed after the time the link has been posted & theare isn't much we can do about it except update some links where at all possible.

Sorry old mate.

If anyone finds threads or posts suffering this problem, please report the post telling us the link no longer works & we'll do our best to fix it if we can

Are you saying that you cannot see this video on the first post below...

If you can't see the video on the first post of that link then I would be updating your Adobe Flash Player mate.

x 2 with AB update your flash player first, if that does't work start a new thread up in the help section

Yep thanks AB, downloading that update worked in terms of getting the update. I've been trying to do that for a while with the message Adobe was sending me, but each time it would tell me I needed to be an administrator or some such, so I kinda gave up after a few goes.

I'll try later and see if I can now see those links - and yes, I confirm that although the thread/post referred to a link, I could not previously see it. Will go looking now :-)

Thanks again

Try logging off then back on to your computer as admin or changing your current login so it has admin priveleges.

this is called the Help section, isn't it Todd - is there another one I should use?

If so is it possible to remove what has been written so far and place it there?

Thanks for the suggestion to shut down and reboot - did that, didn't work.

What actually happens is I can download, it installs, then rolls back the instal and I get an error message. Not sure that tonights is the same as previous, but looks the same

Update failed
Error 1310, error writing to file
C:\Config.Msi\PFC158.tmp.
Verify that you have access to that directory.

I clicked on the details link, and a bit of a scan convinced me that I'll have a go at following those instructions tomorrow :-) Too late in the night for me tonight.

It also kept inviting me to talk to an Adobe tech - that seemed a bit dodgy to me and a way to end up talking to a scammer?

Thanks all for your help so far.

Rick
