Shock Absorber recommendations?

Gday all,

Im looking for some half decent dampers for my 89' GQ lwb, I tow my 1700kg boat alot, and quite often will be daily driving to and from work. I'm unsure if FOX Racing shocks or King shocks are worth the money, I haven't heard all that much about them. I don't want to be forking out 2grand+ if a set of Koni Red's are on even par.

I'll consider almost anything, if it's up to the task.

Koni's should be suitable for what you are doing. I woould even be looking at the old man emu shocks as well.

Why is it nobody seems to use kyb as replacement shocks i have pulled them out of patrols and other cars that look like they are originals 20 years old and still working fine.
