For those that dont know the cold stream track is the one Roothy & 4WD Action killed the Perado on down the west coast.
I have done that track two times and its a fantastic track, it takes 2 days to do both sides. You do need permission to go in there now.
About a month ago a group got trapped in there for a couple of days.It pored with rain after they went in and the rivers got to deep to come back out, they managed to contact one of their rellies to take food to them.
This video is when the river is normal but it can rise super fast if it rains.

Crazy, I hadn't heard about them getting stuck. Who do you have to get permission from now? A few mates did it one way about a year ago. It's pretty intense when wet. I haven't been but really keen to.

Prity sure its owned by gunns.Theres a gate on the main road in thats always been open( read smashed ) gunns were there fixing it when the relative dropped food off, one of the gunns guys seen them there and they got into a bit of strife over it.There is another track in that comes out past the gate Im told.

One of many tricky spots on the track.Cant go to hard as there was a drop of on the other side of the log.
