Just curious if anyone has done a little DIY to stop the mud building up on the fold of the rear wheel arches. The front arches are great with the plastic inner liner but the rear is a nightmare to get to on the inner fold.

It's the only spot I hate cleaning after a trip and was thinking about putting in some rubber strips to fill up the crevice inside. Obviously it cant be foam otherwise it will hold water just a solid rubber strip of some kind.

Was thinking about visiting Clark Rubber and take a squizz...

Hey AB,

There's one sure way to stop the build up of mud in your rear wheel arches.

Get a Cab Chassis:smileyvault-cute-bi

Seriously though sounds like a good idea, makes you wonder why Nissan never did an insert for the rear like the front

Good luck with it

I was just thinking about this the other day while jabbing dried mud out of that gap it always gets jammed in. When I think of something I'll be sure to take a few pics and post it here. Maybe just some black cross bonded polyethylene sheet riveted over that gap. Clark rubber is probably a good place to start
