Hi all I have a gu wagon zd30 vnt turbo it is very sluggish all through rpm boost kicks in around 2500 rpm to 2 psi and then up to 5 psi at 3500 no vac leaks Dawes valve cleaned intake blocked egr all fitted catch can goin in soon exhausted all ideas even tried making the actuator arm shorter as someone has tampered with it but can't seem to get more boost next option I have is needle valve to take all power away from boost controller help I'm runnin out of ideas

you need to adjust your dawes valve up to 10 0r 14 psi even 16 if you can get it
once you put in th c/can you,l also notice a difference

didnt think of that yea the cat might have fell apart

I tightened the dawesvalves as far is it could go no improvement will the cat stop it from boosting and how can I check

I'd pull off the Dawes valve and make sure it's set at 16psi by using a regulator and compressed. Hop under the car give the cat a good tap (when cold) and see if there are any rattles

you,l have to back the dawes of you might have jamed the bearing into the top of the valve
keep opening it till you get rthe result you want

just tap the cat with a hammer and you,l hear loose stuff in side

Pulled the Dawes valve off put on a regulator popping at 5 psi put a far heavier spring in still 5 psi

Sometimes spring may need to be strecthed 4mm , try using small S/S washers to increase boost
