New 550NM Navara

Came across this article on carsales.com. Nissan is introducing a new V6 diesel (renault) producing 550NM with 7 speed Auto for both the Navara and Pathfinder. Unfortunately the article did not make mention of this new engine for the ailing Patrol.

Wouldn't it be nice if they have the fore sight to fit that engine into the GU patrol.

It's widely rumoured that that engine will make it into Patrols (why not, they put the ZD30 in both!), possibly with twin turbos.

Haven't read the car sales article but did see some Nissan stuff today.
Will be TI spec only (called the TI550) and RRP will be $76K ($10k more than the current TI) plus on roads. 3.5 tonne towing,,,Bose stereo,,,and a few other goodies including a TI550 keyring (WOW!). :049:

Edit: Oops my bad. That was Pathfinder info I was reading. Navara is $61K plus on roads. It has flash red stripes on the hard lid though and ugly as crap roofracks.
