I just decided to pull those two stickers off and am happy with it. Just needs a couple of eye bolts, was wondering what these would be like for recovery points? I see a few with them.

Yeah my pup Brutus is great :)

Also I just noticed that my rear panhard rod is hitting my fuel tank, taking it into Bantick Brothers tomorrow night to see what can be done. Pic illustrates what I am talking about.

Mine is the same too, about 1cm gap between the panhard (Dobinson) and LR fuel tank. Let me know what you find out Scott. Cheers Darren

Here is a better photo.

Damage to Panhard rod

No room looking at it from this angle.

Just having another look and I may just be able to slide the LR tank another 5mm to the back, which should stop the Panhard rod from hitting. Will take it to Bantick Brothers first and show them whats happening and they can fix/replace it if needed.

Yeah yours is somewhat closer Scott. I'm guessing longer rear arms would be the fix, but could be wrong.

Actually I take that back, just went and had a look at mine again and it only has about 5mm clearance on the bend. I'm guessing the less fuel I have in the rear tank the higher the Patrol is at the back and the closer the panhard gets to the tank. Cannot see any damage though.

Took mine in this afternoon and is now fixed, they pressed a few minor kinks in and out of it and now it fits perfectly in between the fuel tank and brake proportioning bracket.

Looking at that crossing I dont see how it would be so difficult or am I missing something

at the bottom of the hill is a hole that swallows 35's on the right hand side, with a tree root acting as a step, so if you dont have a rear locker and a lot of flex you dont have much of a chance, not to mention the hill itself is over a 45 degree climb on its own. with wet tyres on slippery clay, its another world of difficulty.

a tj jeep made it the other day with his front left almost a metre in the air. he was running double lockers and struggled

Finally installed replacement rear lights, was sick of having those dummy lights at the rear.
