Good aftey,

So I brought a stock GQ td42 diesel a couple of weeks back and one of the only conversions was a bull bar and spotties.
I was happy about buying stock as the wagon is near on perfect. Now that I'm looking into all the off road add ons the $$$ are going up I am wondering if I could save a few by converting the bull bar I have into a winch compatible one.

So the question I have; is this at all possible, is it common, has anyone done this before themselves, and finally is there somewhere in Melbourne that I can take the wagon too that will help me with the fitting????

Thanks

Richard

Depending on the bullbar. first you need a cradle to mount winch on, then cut bar a bit, but probably better off getting a 2nd hand job, blast and powder coat any colour you want. save the head aches. I've seen it done heaps of time. non winch bars really aren't tall enough for the winch to fit. sell old bar easier
