Had to start all over again with the Ebay adds...lol

Lost all of those helpful members visiting those pages below. If you feel up to it I would appreciate you guys and girls to check out the pages again.

We now have a parts and Used Patrol section located below.

http://www.nissanpatrol.com.au/parts.html
http://www.nissanpatrol.com.au/used-nissan-patrol.html

They are Ebay PPC (pay per click) advertisement to get some money back to run the forum.

I cannot encourage people to click on the ebay listings but do encourage members to direct other people to those pages if you would be directing them to Ebay anyway please.

The adds are actually quite handy as they only show Nissan Patrol Parts (http://www.nissanpatrol.com.au/parts.html) and Used Nissan Patrol (http://www.nissanpatrol.com.au/used-nissan-patrol.html)4x4's in Australia so they may be handy for some people to browse through quickly and "click" on one that you like.

Thanks everyone!

Yep, sometimes near to clear all that.

I plan on buying a 500 acre property with cows, goats, sheep, vege garden and chooks and live off the $10/month from the Ebay adds...lol

500 acres isn't big enough for me to come over and ride my dirt bike and build a 4x4 track, how about you buy 500,000 acres instead *L*

Don't quote me on this as I don't know much about it but I'm pretty sure I just get paid on the first click only (whatever you click in the Ebay section on this site) and then it takes you to Ebay which is just normal Ebay after that.

Pretty sure thats how it works, just the first click and thats it.

Well, the Ebay adds might be a complete waste of time...lol

I'm getting loads of people clicking on the adds but the only way you make money from that is if people click on the adds and win a bid on an item after they click on the adds listed on this site....What a joke! I would be lucky to make $5 a year...lol

Heres the email back from Ebay explaining how it all works....Bit of a scam really.

Thank you for contacting us regarding your earnings report.

I have checked your eBay Partner Network account and found in your report for this month (October), you had no ACRU and no Winning Bid reports, which means there was no successful transaction reported.

Please note that in the new system, we pay publishers for clicks sent to eBay sites and the amount paid per click (EPC) on a daily basis depends on the traffic’s quality, i.e., the amount of incremental revenue and long term value that the traffic generates for eBay. The earnings per click can be zero if your traffic drives no revenue.

The quality of the traffic will be assessed by looking at both the short term and long term value of the traffic to eBay. Short term value is calculated by looking at the revenue associated with purchases that happen as a direct result of publishers’ marketing efforts.

Long term value is a measurement of the revenue that users direct to eBay beyond the first few days after a click. In essence this is the life-time value to eBay of the customers you drive. Essentially, the more incremental revenue and long-term value your traffic generates for eBay, the more you will be paid per click.

The key to increasing your earnings per clicks and then maintaining them at a high level is to optimize your content, placements and traffic sourcing. You can use the campaign ids and the campaign reports will help you to do this.

I hope I have explained things clearly. If you need any more information please get in touch.

I can't believe the way they set it up. Atleast just do the same as Google Adsense and pay per click....What a joke!!!

I would make money casting a line into the Yarra River and hoping to hook onto a $5 note...

Funny you should say that. I was fishing from the cat walk for the commercial boat pens at my local marina. I looked up and saw a $5 note coming towards me, needless to say when I left I was $5 richer.

Yeah, sorry to everyone who helped with the clicking. I was really excited to see what money all the clicks would generate and all i saw was $0...lol

Sorry for the fook around guys, thought it would be the same set up as Google CPC (cost per click)....Not click, sign up to Ebay, bid on the item and win that item and you may get 35 cents...Yippeeeeeeeeee!!!!
