MK Patrol wont cold start

hi guys got a prob my l28 refuses to start first go.
have rebuilt carby,new leads new dissy cap new coil pack new rotor button new batterie!
any chance it could have something to do with the vacuum lines being hooked up wrong??
in that case cant find a diagram for vacuum lines

also changed my fuel lines in case i had a cracked line and the fuel was running back into the tank. no change

How does it hot start IF it wont cold start ???

Get the fuel filter and throw it out, go get a newie from supacrap,about a coupla bucks
Just inside the carb is a fine filter, these over time clog and restrict the fuel

Need more info,like has it run since the carb was rebuilt ???,is the timing right ???,are you getting sufficient spark ???
Go to the basics im afraid and check and double check everything
Timing,fuel delivery,hoses correct,leads work, points work,rotor button spins,dizzy cap for cracks (new doesnt mean it cant be stuffed)
Post some pics , nice clear ones of the vacuum hoses and ill check whats here

i think it might have something to do with the solenoid on the carbie mabye not enough current....
cause i have to spray start it only when cold...

Is the choke working - I had a manual choke on my l28

Once started how does it run & idle

manual choke works but dosnt help start it
runs and idles just first start of the day it wont do

any thoughts on the solenoid being the prob?????

I think the solnoid is to stop run on once you turn the key off.

I wouldbe inclined to check that you have no vacume leaks, and that the choke is closeing properly and

From memory they don't run a resistor block so check the voltage from the coil. Cold weak coil performs badly.

already put new coil on
weak or dying fuel pump??? its probably the only thing i havnt done
