Hi,
Wondering if anyone knows where I can get a resistor to suit the auto mod that has been talked about on here? I live Brisbane North.
I have tryed Jaycar electronics who only stock resistors to 10w,and I assume I need a 20w resistor. I will be trying a 1k ohm resistor first.
Any information would be appreciated as I'm keen to have the auto shifting firmer.

Put two 10W 2K ohm resistors in parallel. This will give you the equivalent of 1K ohm at 20W.
