Hey guys.
At the moment I'm intercooling my gu 4.2td ute and was planning on putting a stock intercooled bonnet on.
But the availability on this part is low and price is high, So I was wondering how hard it would be to cut a scoop into an existing bonnet? and also if anyone had any measurments for the bolt holes and main hole. or like a blueprint or something.

Cheers Scott

Yeah I've been able to find plenty of scoops, But wonder how hard it would be to fit?
and then compare to buying one (which I am struggling to find

as per the last thred http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/GU-GQ-PAT...item4165d512ba
it said either silicon it on or tell them and they will put bolts on it for you
a lot cheeper i think
have you tried the wreckers
remember if you dont get the right colour it needs to be painted $400.00
so the vent is a lot is cheeper
i did see a carbon fiber on and for a smallamount extra will put a scoop in it

i supose it all depends on the amount you are willing to pay
if installing a scoop it will have the bolts embeded in it so that problem solver
as to the main hole i guess it depends on the location of the intercooler
have a look at a mates troll or go to a car yard and look under the bonnet and take a few measurments
hope this helps
