Gq diff housings are the disk and drum the same

Anyone know if the disc brake rear diff housing is the same as the drum brake one in a gq coil rear h233

essentially they are but the mountings will be different for the brake setups

So can i swap all that over i have a drum diff and a disc diff in the car i want to swap them but continue using the disk brakes.

Is their anything welded on that is different or are you just talking about bolt on bits.

Yeah the brackets which are welded to the diff will be different between the two as far as i know

Ok the diff housings are different took some rough measurements today about an inch from the arm mounts either side.

Pretty sure the axles are slightly different lengths too between drum and disc.
