Hi, I am new to the forum and have had a search but cant find exactly what I'm chasing.
Looking to change the timing belt on my 99 GU 2.8 intercooled turbo diesel.
Just wondering if someone with good experience with these could let me know exactly what parts/seals I should order when doing this? Timing belt, crank seal, waterpump etc????
I will be paying a mechanic to do it and ordering the parts myself so I don't want to forget anything/need to change something in a few months time that could of been done with the belt.
Thanks :)

Hi Mate, a bit of advice........ Get a new belt, tensioner, idler and crankshaft seal, new key and new bolt and small bottle of locktite.
Make sure your mechanic cleans out the crank thread and uses the locktite.
Do not do the bolt up with a rattle gun, do it with a tension wrench.
The best place and price for genuine parts is from Nizzbits, you can contact Garry here. nizzbits@hotmail.com
Cheers, the ferret.
