Is there anything I need to do to dustproof my engine, or anything else under the bonnet?

I just make sure the airbox is sealed right and all the joins in the air system between the air box and the engine are sealed properly. I also don't muck around with the filter too much (ie: I don't tap the filter too much, just rotate it every now and then).

I also only use paper filters as I think they filter the best. Definately not a fan of high-breathing K&N filters. I've got one but when I hold it up to the sun I can see specks of sunlight coming through. So if there's gaps big enough to see sunlight through then dust is surely going to get through too.

What about bulldust? lol

You can run oiled prefilters, I believe you can on both deisel and petrol. Need some more advice on this though.

Are you there Tony?
