Holy Dooley mate ... paid about $280 for a spare 33x12.5x15 Maxxis Bighorn, so that price seems bloody extortionate ...

Most of the maxxis bighorns weren't load rated to patrol specs last time I checked. I have just paid 1950 for a set of 5 cooper at3s fitted 265/70/17 or similar. Fitted in south Brisbane. Not sure that price is that bad really. Didn't have much of a chance to shop around though. Needed it done

I feel for ya Bazza... Standard Karratha pricing structure...

A 3 bedroom house is $1,500 a week to rent, a Macca's/KFC/Red Rooster meal deal will only give you silver change from $20 and a basic (really basic) motel room will cost $150 a night.

Even online tyres will cost a bomb when the dude finds out where he has to freight 'em.

Yeah i had a look around and unless they are purchased from a authrorised dealer they dont recognise the warranty this is why i went the way i did.
