i split mine (punched window getting wifes attention out side the car)over easter and had the hilux window cracked for a few weeks, got quote from obrien and it was $1100 for both racq glass did it for $450 for both but both had split threw all the way. i think the obrien fella musta been on crack!

check out racq then cos this was 450 for 2 windscreens and they came and fitted it on a sat morning! only took em 1.5 hrs and i could drive it in an hr after that.

You'll be fine great bunch of people and you'll learn heaps. never second guess your navi just do as you're told pretty much the guys here will get you doing stuff you wouldn't dream of very safely and you'll learn heaps. takes awhile to get over the angles and fear of rolling but you get use to it

True mate - easy tracks around 90% of anything harder .. we usually navi for everyone who wants/needs guidance and truth be told, there's a few decent little areas that people can have a lash on short, hard tracks where you can't really do any damage as such and can reverse straight out of, so there'll be plenty of opportunity for everyone ..

Safety, fun and ensuring everyone drives home (in an unbroken truck) with a smile on their dial is our priority ...

Great day about 17 cars there I think photo's to come as I came home a little early wouldn't surprise me if they are still there. Just got home myself my mate in the Gu ute had a few dramas on the way out with a steering wobble. Truth be told, they actually look really quite ordinary to me once posted (compared to the hi res image on my PC) , they loose so much WOW factor, at one stage i did look at changing the on line hosted location to improve the quality :frown:

Firstly Steveo.......... your not sposed to have got a locker till "after" id come out with mine fitted, that way id have gone so much further up all the tracks than you, all the time putting the extra distance down to nothing more than the skills of the driver :hpfredgeorge1: (haha-ha !)



I was amazed at how many cars did NOT have lockers on that day, some of the stuff they made look pretty easy i had doubts, but i have pics that assure me they dont, as they show "one" wheel spinning at times.


I also saw some exellent driving, and a few of the cars looked outstanding, i really liked this one.....

Yeah I drove everywhere the locked blokes did and i dont have a locker (white gq ute black tube tray) however i do have good clearance and travel. There was plenty of guidance from others as well which is always helpful.

Not even bloke its much better that someone has a go than just always opts for the easy way. If your tyres were slightly newer this would have helped a lot. You wont have to spend a lot to make it capable mate. And im sure there is plenty of people to help you out ( i know a bloke who offered you help ) ;). It was good that you made it home safely and apart from the tow truck had an awesome day. When im back in brissy mate i will have a good check over your vehivle if you like.
