Hi All,

I have a 94 4.2 diesel GQ Tray Top Manual, i am looking at putting an aftermarket turbo on it.
Currently running, Pacemaker extractors with 2.5" exhaust.

Just wondering which turbo would be best suited for the Nissan TD 4.2 engine?

Thanks
Matt

Hey Matt, just noticed that you live in Mandurah and so do I, this is my GQ.

It had the turbo on it when I purchased it, you quite welcome to have a look at it if you like, just let me know, I'm not very mechanically minded though but may give you some ideas.

We can close it if you want to mate but sometimes It's good to leave these ones open.

Weeks even months later some people jump on and have great information to add for other people to read later on and learn off as well.

up to you mate, no stress either way?

Hi Dogman,

Thanks for the info. Who did you get to install your Turbo System?
I’m having trouble viewing the pictures that are attached to your post.
My patrol has done quite a few Km’s (530k) i have been told that adding a turbo will shorten its life?
